Culture Tip: Tellus Project (Partnership)

From April 10 to August 24, 2025, a unique exhibition will take place at Centrale in Brussels: Tellus Project, a collaboration between visual artist Caroline Le Méhauté and choreographer Isabella Soupart. This multidisciplinary installation-performance explores the interaction between art, biology, and ecology, offering a critical perspective on our relationship with the Earth.

An artistic dialogue with the earth

Tellus Project is a research initiative that examines the possibilities of extracting polluted substances from the soil using hyperaccumulative plants, which can filter and break down part of these contaminants. In Le Méhauté’s hands, this scientific process takes on a symbolic and poetic dimension—art as a healing force for the Earth. At the same time, choreographer Isabella Soupart introduces movement into the project through dance. During the performance, dancers engage with the polluted soil, shifting and reshaping it in a mesmerizing choreography of strength, endurance, and transformation. This interactive process invites the audience to see the Earth not as a given, but as a living and fragile entity with which we must engage in dialogue. Agaris is proud to support this project, as it perfectly aligns with our vision of working towards a more sustainable world.

Agaris & Caroline Le Méhauté: a natural partnership

Agaris and Caroline Le Méhauté share a common passion for the components of fertile soil and the sustainable use of natural materials. The materials used in her works naturally connect Agaris and Caroline Le Méhauté. However, this is not the only reason for our collaboration. Through this partnership, Agaris supports the artist as part of our commitment to making a positive impact on society. This aligns with our core philosophy, which remains at the heart of everything we do: Together we grow!
